From the people that brought you Meggie’s Measures in 2023 and My Fanny Valentine: Rebirthed in 2024, Love Me Tinder: Unhinged follows a woman as she navigates the absurd highs and gut-wrenching lows of modern romance - where expectations often collide with reality.
Originally performed as part of a module whilst studying at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Love Me Tinder was later extended for a Valentine’s Day special at Three Wise Monkeys in 2016 and The Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2016 for a month long run. This unhinged version will have updated songs and themes relevant to 2025 culture.
Between swiping left and right, she reflects on the romantic ideals shaped by classic 90’s films - those dreamy, picture-perfect love stories where everything falls into place with a perfect kiss. But in the world of dating, the fairytale is anything but guaranteed.
With catchy tunes, sharp humour and a healthy dose of Megan’s personal experience, this cabaret brings the romantic fantasies of her youth face-to-face with the often messy and unpredictable reality of modern dating.
