Don’t Be a Hero is a podcast ran by Matt Jewson and Forest Morgan. Launching in 2022, the podcast began its life reviewing each TV episode and film that formed part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. After this colassal mission was finished, we set about reviewing everything and anything ‘superhero’. Now with over 150 episodes and a dedicated international audience that's growing each week, we are ready to embark on a new LIVE show.
After hosting an extremely successful live podcast in 2024 for Colchester Invasion and in 2023 hosting live panels at MCM Comic Con with Reed Pop at London's Excel, we are back and bigger than ever for two shows in 2025.
You can expect all of the usual antics of the Don’t Be a Hero Podcast; chats about the state of Marvel and DC, the usual tangent and segway into unchartered and irrelevant territory and the infamous DBAH crisp rating of a recently released movie/TV show.
What’s bigger and better about this specific live edition though we hear you ask... .
Well, this time, we’re about to get all creative. Instead of purely a live edition of the podcast, you can expect a Don’t Be a Hero Podcast revue. Be prepared for discussions, sketches, nostalgia and maybe, potentially, a little song as well.
