Art is pain. Pain is art. Two self-absorbed artists take on the challenge of a lifetime: to create music with feeling—while feeling the real pain of electrocution. The “definitely not masochistic” duo take their audience on a darkly farcical journey that will never be forgotten—and that they may never recover from.
In maybe their worst idea yet, veteran musical improvisers Lee Apsey ('CSI: Crime Scene Improvisation,' 'Your Flaws: The Musica') and Jayda Fogel ('Bird & Tax Collector,' '¡Horario Estelar!') take inspiration from the audience to create hilarious and sincere songs, sketches and stories on the spot with the added challenge of being strapped to electro-shock devices, drinking hot sauce, and being beaten by an elderly woman with a stick.
Special guests from the Fringe may also appear to hammer down on their poor life choices.
You’ll be shocked, and so will the players—literally.
