The Protagonist takes centre stage, as a steadfast force, a beacon of determination amidst the chaos of driving the narrative forward. No one knows how they became, their presence is seemingly eternal and unwavering.
Enter Hubris, throwing obstacles in the path of the Protagonist, challenging them to confront their destiny. They come and go as they please, unsatisfied with the role given to them in this story.
Lurking in the shadows without a physical presence, the Creator silently orchestrates each twist and turn, wielding power beyond comprehension. But what happens when the puppet defies it’s puppeteer?
Amidst the turmoil the Protagonist is forced to confront the very essence of their existence as the lines between creator and creation blur.
From the mind of playwright Emma Kopf comes this daring examination of the complex dynamic between author, character and actor. Audiences are invited to delve deep into the heart of the human experience through a mesmerising blend of absurdity and introspection. Tensions mount and egos clash, each vies for dominance on stage, trying to grab control for themselves. This work challenges us to question our own perception of reality and embrace the profound complexity of our own narratives.
